The 12th "KATASKEVES" Exhibition, held from May 9-11 at M.E.C. Paiania, concluded with great success and an impressive turnout of visitors.
The exhibition showcased all housing solutions for residential buildings, industrial structures, and tourist accommodations, as well as construction products and machines for cutting and welding metal and shaping steel. It attracted thousands of professional visitors and private individuals from all over Greece, Cyprus, and abroad.
An innovation of the exhibition was the presence of complete constructions (composite, wooden, or metal structures, tiny homes, home and office containers, etc.) in both the indoor and outdoor areas of the exhibition.
In an emotionally charged atmosphere, two particularly significant entrepreneurs in the construction sector were honored. Mr. Konstantinos Kampolis was awarded for his many years of experience and contribution to the field of Prefabrication, while Mr. Dimitris Agatsas was recognized for his special contributions to Metal Constructions. The awards were presented by the Deputy Minister of Development, and the presence of exhibitors, organizations, and visitors was notable. Following the inauguration, a reception took place.
On Friday, May 9, as part of the 12th "KATASKEVES" Exhibition, a successful Scientific Seminar was concluded, focusing on the Fire Protection of Constructions. Distinguished speakers participated, providing insights into the latest developments and best practices in construction fire protection. The seminar was organized in collaboration with the Hellenic Institute of Fire Protection of Constructions (EL.IPYKA) and the Panhellenic Association of Insulation Companies (PSEM).
On Saturday, May 10, the Scientific Seminar concluded with significant attendance, featuring three important thematic sections: A. Earthquake Protection in Constructions, supported by the Hellenic Organization for Earthquake Protection (OASP), B. Management of Construction and Demolition Waste (ΑΕΚΚ) by the company Sanke M. EPE, and C. Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technology, with participation from the Association of Companies and Study Offices (SEG).
On the afternoon of Sunday, May 11, the conclusion of the 12th "KATASKEVES" Exhibition was marked by the lottery of a prefabricated house, sponsored by the company KALLERGIS Prefabricated Constructions.
The organizers express their gratitude to all the exhibitors and organizations that participated, as well as to the thousands of visitors, professionals, and private individuals who responded to the invitation.
The exhibition sets its next appointment for May 8-10, 2026, with the aim of presenting new innovations and holding a drawing for a new house!
